Georgie back in New Zealand
I returned to London on Friday after two weeks in New Zealand.
Dad was admitted to Palmerston North hospital within a day of my arrival. After a few uncertain days, he came back home to Masterton and appeared to have stabilised when I left.
But things changed quickly over the weekend: my dad died today at home.
I'm flying back for his funeral this week, which will be held at St Patricks's Parish Church, Queen St, Masterton at 10am on Friday. My father never did things by half: a cardinal, bishop and a two priests will take the Requiem Mass.
Jonathan and I would like to thank everyone for their support during this time.
